St. Mark's is rich with opportunities for all who gather! Our ministries and activities seek to connect you with God, one another, and the world through the transforming presence of God's love. You are welcome to join us in any way - in worship, as a volunteer, and in fellowship. We recently added a cry room to our sanctuary so parents with young children will feel welcome to enjoy the service without worries. Come check out this great new space!
Preschool
Our Preschool is just one facet of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church’s ministry to children. The mission of our program is to minister to families in the area by providing a high quality, developmentally appropriate program in a loving, Christian atmosphere. Our program addresses the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of the children and their families. We strive for excellence and offer age-appropriate curricula, stimulating learning materials, and school readiness activities.
St. Mark’s Preschool & Childcare is an Indiana registered childcare ministry. We are certified for the voluntary certification program, opting to abide by health and safety regulations comparable to that of licensed centers. In addition, we are a Level 3 “Paths to Quality” provider and are dedicated to providing the community with a strong, quality program.
Year-Round Open Enrollment
We are open year-round, Monday-Friday from 7am to 6pm for the convenience of working parents.
Classes are offered for ages 30 months - 5 years
Warm, Welcoming Environment
Our environment is warm and welcoming, presenting a homey atmosphere in a safe, secure school setting. We are also conveniently located. Staff members are highly-skilled and selected based upon their professional and personal abilities. Our staff members, at the minimum, hold their CDA, a national indicator for early child care professionals.
Fun & Learning
St. Mark's offers time each day for lots of creative and fun learning experiences, including cooperative play, outdoor exercise & nature experiences, science, math & literacy activities, as well as creative art projects.
We also have bring in local organizations for programs each month, such as two different Story Time programs by Willard and Central libraries. Other local organizations we bring in for special programs include Mesker Park Zoo, Fired Up, Snickerdoodle Art, Timmy Tooth, Scrubby Bear and more! There's always something going on at St. Mark's Preschool!

We accept CCDF vouchers and participate in the On My Way Pre-K Program. Our competitive rates make us affordable for any budget.
If your family is eligible for CCDF Vouchers or On My Way Pre-K, your tuition COULD be free.
